WHAT IS A LIE?

A lie is something that is not true, masquerading as truth.

When we have the Holy Spirit and yield our life to Him, we are able to detect lies even if they seem true to everyone else. Because He (the Holy Spirit) takes God's word (which is truth) and reveals it to us, and brings it back to our remembrance.

Psalm 119:160 (ESV)

The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.

John 17:17 (ESV)

Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

Reality is shaped by the things we believe. Either true, half true, or false, trying to look true. What we believe is very important!

The enemy is great at taking a half-truth and making it seem 100% true. We have to open the eyes of our spirit to the Holy Spirit and let Him show us the full truth so we can live in the reality that matters and that God's reality.

You are unique and beautiful. You aren't cookie-cutter. You were formed by a master craftsman. The hands that formed you formed the universe. Stop robbing the unique and beautiful qualities God blessed you with by giving thoughts to the lie that life would be better if you were someone else. You are you. God made you. Be you. Let God use the real you, not a fantasy you that robs you of the Godly uniqueness you possess. You are 1 of 1.

YOU ARE KNOWN. YOU ARE CONSECRATED. YOU ARE APPOINTED. THE HANDS THAT FORMED YOU ARE THE ONES THAT HOLD YOU AND SUSTAIN YOU. WHY WOULD WE LET THE CREATION DETERMINE OUR WORTH WHEN THE CREATOR HAS ALREADY SPOKEN YOU ARE HIS MASTERPIECE!
