Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

You should expect to come to a place with no perfect people. A place where you be accepted as you are. A place that loves coffee, Jesus, and genuine community. You should expect to have fun in a super chill, laid back community.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Wear what you normally wear, just wear something is all we ask. Don't feel pressured to come in "church clothes." A lot of people just wear jeans or shorts and a t-shirt. Be you that's all we ask.

WHAT IS SERVICE LIKE?

This isn't your grandma's church. We have a live band that plays current worship music. We like our music loud and passionate. The messages are applicable to your life and not taught in "churchy" language.

WHAT TIME IS SERVICE & HOW LONG IS IT?

Service starts at 10am & it is about 70-75 minutes. A lot can happen in under two hours.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We have a completely separate Kids experience that takes place at the same time the adult experience happens. It is a safe, clean, and fun space that is lead by background checked workers. Your kids are going to love it!

CAN I BRING PEOPLE WITH ME?

Yes you can and we encourage you to bring everyone you know with you! This place is for everyone!

WILL I FEEL PRESSURED?

No you will not. We are very careful about our culture and pressure is not a value in this house. We want you to come worship, learn, and be changed by God's presence. Go at your pace!

OUR BELIEFS

The Bible

The entire Old and New Testament scriptures are the unchanging, inspired word of God. We hold it as the absolute authority in all matters pertaining to the Christian life and doctrine.
Psalm 119:89,105 // 2 Timothy 3:16  // 2 Peter 1:20-21 // Hebrews 4:12

The Trinity

There is one eternal God who created all things. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 3:13-17 //  1 John 5:7

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is given to the believer at the time of salvation and is there to help us live victorious lives in Christ. He shouldn't be an after thought! Instead He is to have an active role in the life of every believer.
John 14:16-18 // Acts 1:8 // Acts 2:1-4

Salvation

The bible states that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Salvation is a free gift from God, received by grace through faith and cannot be earned by any human efforts.
John 14:6 //  Ephesians 2:8-9

Resurrection

Without Jesus' resurrection, His story is merely just that, only a good story. The bible states that not only was Jesus raised from the dead, but because Jesus rose, now death is not the final say for any human being.
2 Corinthians 5:8 // Hebrews 6:2 // 1 Corinthians 15:12-23,55 // Romans 1:3-4

Eternity

Each individual's decision to reject or accept salvation through Jesus Christ determines our eternal destination of either heaven or hell. John 3:16 // Romans 6:23

Holiness

The process of allowing salvation to work from our "inner" life to our "outer" life is called sanctification. God is holy and righteous and He desires who we are and what we do to be a reflection of Him. 1 Peter 1:15-16 // Philippians 2:12 // Ephesians 4:11-15 // Romans 12:1-2

Healing

One provision of Jesus' finished work on the cross is healing for the believer, body and soul. Jesus declared that the Fathers' will for us is to enjoy abundant life and we believe this includes physical healing, received by faith in the scriptures.
John 10:10 // 1 Peter 2:24 // Mark 11:22-24

Communion

This is an ordinance given to believers to practice remembering Jesus' death and resurrection. The elements, usually bread and juice, are simply tokens that represent His body that was broken and His blood that was shed for our sins.
1 Corinthians 11:28-32 // Matthew 26:26-28

Water Baptism

Jesus commanded that all who call on His name be baptized in water as an outward or public display of their faith. Baptism cannot save anyone, but it is an important part of leaving your old life behind to follow this new life in Christ.
Matthew 28:19 // Acts 2:37-39
