How it started

Pastors Troy & Alicia Bailey had a vision to start a life giving church in their hometown Kansas City. That all came into fruition with the first service on January 22nd, 2017 in Turner High School. The crowd wasn't huge but the vision was and ever since then we have focused on connecting, growing, and serving. We stayed at Turner High school for a year and then moved to Santa Fe Trail Elementary school in Overland Park. We were there for a year and a half before we ended up on 75th and Metcalf at Kansas Christian College. God has directed every step and we have seen His faithfulness.

THE BUILDING
IS NOT THE CHURCH

The one thing we have seen first hand is that the building is not the church - the people are. Either meeting in a school, office, home, or a church building God shows up where His people are. We do desire to have a building but we know the building is a tool not a home.

Plans for
the future

We desire to continue to stay at Kansas Christian College till we are able to get a building of our own. Till then we will believe God, save money, and connect, grow, and serve the Kansas City people that we dearly love.

THE CHURCH ISN’T A COUNTRY CLUB FOR PEOPLE TO GATHER. RATHER IT’S A HOSPITAL FOR BROKEN PEOPLE TO MEET THEIR FATHER GOD AND EXPERIENCE FREEDOM.”
